Beginner
Lesson Package - $25 |
This
class will teach you how to belay (holding the rope for
a climber), tie a
figure-8 knot and basic climbing technique. You will learn
everything you need
to know to start climbing inside safely. Group
rates are available. Please call

We also offer courses in outdoor climbing for beginners
to advanced climbers. |

Vertical Dreams will be offering outdoor classes and trips
to local climbing areas. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. All
technical equipment is provided with all our classes.
Single rate is for one person, but not necessarily a private
class. Private classes can be scheduled at $150 a day.
Possible climbing locations include: Pawtuckaway State
Park, Rumney, NH, and Franconia Notch, NH. For more information

1-Day Rock
Climbing Class:
(Beginner – Intermediate) In
this course, you’ll go climbing with one of our
experienced guides. You will have the opportunity
to try various climbs in your climbing ability.
All equipment is included. Choose from Pawtuckaway,
Rumney, or Franconia Notch climbing areas.
2 people (Min.): $100 each
3 - 5 people: $90 each
6 - 10 people: $75 each

2-Day Rock
Climbing Class:
(Beginner – Intermediate) In
this 2-day class you will learn basic climbing safety,
belaying and rappelling. Choose to climb at 2 different
climbing areas.
1 person: $300
2 people: $180 each
3 - 5 people: $160 each
5 - 10 people: $120 each

Top Roping Instruction:
(Intermediate) In this course
you’ll learn how to climb on your own.
You will learn how to set up top rope anchors in various
situations, as well as different rappelling techniques.
Students should have taken our one or two-day classes
or have some climbing experience. |
Sport Climbing Instruction:
(Intermediate – Expert) This
1-day class is for experienced, intermediate
top rope climbers who want to learn to lead climb.
Students should have excellent belay skills and
should be climbing 5.9.
1 person: $150
2 - 4 people: $110 |

Vertical Dreams now hosts a climbing merit badge
program, covering all
the requirements except for First Aid. The course
is offered Sundays with an
appointment. Participants must be 13 years or older.
There is a minimum of
2 scouts and a maximum of 6. |

- Instruction by Certified Merit Badge Counselors
- 3 hours of climbing time
- Free Belay Instruction for Chaperones
